PERANCANGAN SISTEM PENILAIAN SISWA BERBASIS WEB DI SMK IT AISYIYAH JAKARTA SELATAN

Abstract
Pada era globalisasi ini, penggunaan teknologi informasi di bidang pendidikan menjadi kelebihan suatu instansi dalam memudahkan alur kerja, misalnya pengelolaan nilai hasil belajar siswa. Namun, SMK IT Aisyiyah Jakarta Selatan masih menggunakan sistem manual baik itu dicatat dalam buku nilai (leger) atau aplikasi sederhana yang belum sepenuhnya terkomputerisasi, sehingga mengalami banyak kendala seperti proses pendataan yang berulang, rentan terhadap kesalahan input, dan kurang efisien dalam pelaporan hasil belajar serta sulitnya pengelolaan data secara real-time. Untuk itu, dilakukanlah perancangan sistem penilaian siswa berbasis web, yang merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan efisiensi, akurasi, serta kemudahan akses bagi guru, siswa, dan pihak terkait lainnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan waterfall berdasarkan model SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), seperti analisa kebutuhan, perancangan, pengkodean, pengujian, dan pemeliharaan. Perancangan dan pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan teknologi berbasis web, seperti PHP untuk kode program dan MySQL untuk menyimpan database. Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, sistem yang dihasilkan dapat meningkatkan efisiensi dan akurasi dalam mengelola nilai siswa, mengurangi kesalahan input, serta memudahkan akses informasi bagi pengguna. Diharapkan sistem ini dapat membantu dalam mengevaluasi kemajuan belajar siswa secara lebih efektif dan akurat.
